Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.

  • Make sure your clinicians gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your service. You can also ask your clinicians, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or services.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises

Insurance

I accept Humana and Aetna plans for Systemic Psychotherapy only. If you do not have one of the mentioned plans, the posted rates are required for my offerings. Insurance will not cover nor can be applied to: life coaching, yoga psychotherapy, yoga classes, consultation or group programs. Lastly, I do not accept EAP vouchers for services.

If you are seeking systemic psychotherapy I’m happy to provide you with a statement (superbill) for you to submit for reimbursement. Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan.

*Many clients choose to opt-out of using benefits to ensure utmost privacy and confidentiality of their mental health services.

To learn more about your coverage and mental health benefits, I encourage you to call your insurance provider directly.

Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:

Do I have coverage for individual psychotherapy with an out of network provider?

What is the coverage or reimbursement amount per session?

What is my deductible and has it been met?
